The Story of The House Mouse

Its a bit of a childish song but I like it anyway. I wrote this for one of my professor's kids.

Verses are C-E with a capo on the 5

House Mouse

The Mouse ate all my cheese
The Mouse was very me to me
That Mouse got into my clothes.
The Mouse is now ready for a show

The mouse is in my house (Am)
and he doesn't seem to want to leave (Bm)
No matter how I try (Em)
No matter how I cry (F-G-F-G)
He just doesn't want to leave. (Bm)

The mouse just brought all his friends
That mouse doesn't want this to end
Now the mice just run amuck
Those mice will soon run out of luck

The mouse is in my house
and he doesn't seem to want to leave
No matter how I try
No matter how I cry
He just doesn't want to leave.

The mouse drove me insane
The mouse caused me so much pane
That mouse is no longer pleased
Mr Mouse ate the wrong piece of cheese (hehe)

That mouse was in my house
and he didn't seem to want to leave
No matter how I tried
No matter how I cried
He just didn't want to leave

Now he gone forever
We shall never meet again
And the house feels quite alone
Without a mouse to call it home.
